A joyful exhibition inspired by our feathered friends

At the intersection of Percival Road and Myrtle Street in Stanmore, the Corner Gallery has been transformed into a delightful display of birdlife for ‘Joy’, a Bird Week exhibition.

Founded by award-winning photographer Angela Robertson-Buchanan in 2014, this year’s exhibition aims to showcase “bird art to uplift, captivate and excite”, as stated in their press release.

Featuring works by Robertson-Buchanan, Nichola Bryan, Shannon Dwyer and a selection of other artists, visitors will enjoy a broad representation of Australian wildlife.

From cheeky cockatoos to the infamous ibis, each artwork and photograph captures the unique personality of the bird-subject.

With 20% of sales being donated to non-for-profit bird conservation organisation, BirdLife Australia, each purchase helps to support a local artist and the birds that inspire them.
